Alanna is her own special animal with unique adaptations



Science specialist Wendy Pavlicek   presents animals and plant adaptations.
We also enjoyed the Mill Pond field trip even though the weather was cold and rainy!
Animal Adaptations test Monday for Room 205 and Thursday for Room 210.

Classroom pets

Core Book Helen Keller






Students have been reading the biography of Helen Keller. Here you can see the students learning Sign Language  with Mrs. Thornton and writing their names in Braille using split peas . We really enjoyed this hands on project,

Fractions Wars






The students had the opportunity to show off their fractional knowledge by playing the traditional game of War. The person who has the larger fractional part wins that round. This game helps students with equivalence and reading numerators and denominators. Check it out!
